Beginnings 

Love Hard University is the brainchild of poet, writer and hopeless romantic, Barry Wright. He had collected college sports paraphernalia for as long as he could remember.  He noticed how wearing team apparel made fans feel a sense of pride and belonging and how many people wearing the same colors in one place created an communing energy that lifted a team's spirits.  As he toyed with the idea of starting his own apparel line, one of his daughters was going through a youthful heartache. He recalls thinking that his daughter "loves so hard". Love Hard University was born.  

principles

Love Hard University is founded on the principles that love is eternal and without boundaries, it is meant to be free flowing, given, and received equally without limitations. Love is recognized as a gift and nurtured and appreciated as such. People from all backgrounds, spiritual practices and walks of life acknowledge and accepted love as the most powerful force the Creator has gifted us with. We are all created equally and are deserving of love from ourselves, others and God. 

Mission

Our Mission is simply to deposit love in the world! 

The Love Hard University apparel line, like this website promotes Love.  We will collect and post photos of customers sporting their LHU apparel and share their love stories with site visitors. Did a couple have a wild and crazy courtship?  Did a father reconnect with his estranged child?  Has a woman finally found herself after years of seeking love?  Can finding and loving God change one's life?  We want to deposit love into the world one t-shirt and one story at a time.  Additionally we will share music, poetry and other artistic expression, useful articles and media that we feel will support our love movement and elevate love in a world that needs more of it.
